Hi! I’m Kendall Rose. I am a special education teacher from Michigan, who has a love for adventure. I moved to Jinja, Uganda in 2014 and served for a year alongside many different organizations. Ever since then, I have held that city and the people I met there very close to my heart. Since then I have been working as a middle school special education teacher.
In the summer of 2019, the Lord called me to move back to Uganda – to serve alongside a local non-profit organization. I have taken a leave of absence from my current teaching job, and have committed 1 1/2 years to The Street Child Project.
The purpose of my blog is to welcome people to walk this journey with me, and to hopefully see that the World is not as big and scary as we sometimes make it out to be.
